CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF FARUG.

Born in 2003, with the vision of a world where being LBQ womxn is normal. Our mission is to strengthen and mobilize the voice, visibility, and collective organizing power of LBQ womxn in order to change the norms, institutions, policies, and practices that perpetuate inequality, homophobia, hetero normativity and violence in both the public and private arenas and 4^th July 2023, marked the 20 years of FARUG’s existence and the entire month of July, as we celebrated the 20 years. We walk you through our wins, resilience, history and present through the different letters of love, memories from our LBQ womxn community as we look forward to what the future hold for us.
