Feminist Leadership Training.

Strengthened Activist Leadership is one of the strategic objectives as an organization in building womxn movement. The feminist training for new emerging womxn leaders was to offer support, explore and expand their knowledge and understanding on feminism, feminist principles, and practices to better challenge patriarchy and its norms, as well explore different feminist approaches in building leadership.

Virtual Mental Health Space; Check in; How Do you feel about the Supreme Court appeal.

Following the nullification of certain sections of the Law, the mental health and wellbeing of the womxn community continue to take unhealthy trail and  as a result,  with the recent appeal  of the Anti-Homosexuality Law to the supreme Court,  we convened a virtual safe mental health space, where we explored and updated the womxn community on the appeal and its impact on our mental health and wellbeing of the womxn community, taking precautions on measures of safety and security hence addressing and cultivating a collective self-care, coping, healing and wellbeing space for womxn members.

Virtual Support Circle for LBQ womxn’s Leaders/Activists; ‘’Burden Bearing’’

Regeneration/ support circles continue to play a holistic approach in addressing mental wellbeing and care, the fears experienced by the community members become challenges that need redress, which on the other hand, pose as burdens upon the womxn leaders and activists hence challenging their mental health and wellbeing. So this virtual support circle offered space for leaders to share, relief off their burden without fear of judgement, when one should stop should and when to continue, regenerating and refueling each other so as they can continue serving the community in a healthy and stable state.
