As we observe the Lesbian Visibility Week that aims to show solidarity and recognize within the LGBTIQ community, it is a week of voices of unity and for unity, a time to affirm our identities as Lesbians. lesbian womxn

Visibility has a crucial role in changing widespread discriminatory attitudes; today we shade light to the Lesbian Visibility day, celebrated annually on 26 April; together with the rest of the Lesbian Community worldwide, we celebrate “The Power of sisterhood”.  Today is a time to celebrate all our progress, but also a reminder of how far; we have come to attain visibility.
