The Lesbian Visibility Day celebrated annually on 26th April stands significant to the Lesbian community, in recognizing and celebrating the contributions of Lesbians worldwide, raise awareness about the issues they face and promote authenticity. It’s always an opportunity to honor the accomplishments of Lesbians, reflect on the challenges they encounter and foster a culture of acceptance and inclusion. Firmly anchored in feminist principles, we recognize that sisterhood encompasses all women, including those who are transgender. In reflection to the this year’s theme, ‘The Power of Sisterhood’, we celebrate the strength and resilience of Lesbian women, promoting visibility and inclusion in all aspects of life as we recognize the importance of protecting the rights and dignity of all individuals regardless of their Sexual orientation and gender identity, embracing diversity and complexities of experiences, differences and shared humanity.
