Executive Director: SSenfuka Joanita Warry(Biggie)
Biggie is the current Executive Director of Freedom And Roam Uganda(FARUG).She has been part of FARUG since its inception in 2003 as the finance officer.She is a board member at Sexual Minorities Uganda(SMUG) a network of LGBTI organisations in Uganda and at Global Network for Rainbow Catholics(GNRC).
Biggie is a Human Rights Defender,lesbian feminist,an actress and a rugby player.She was one of the organisers of the first ever Pride event in Uganda.She is a passionate and committed activist on HIV/AIDS and related health issues amongst LBQ women as well as promoting the rights of LGBTI persons.
Programs Officer: Mutyaba Gloriah
Gloriah is the Programs officer at Freedom and Roam Uganda. She is a radical feminist, human rights defender, LGBTI activist and gender rights activist with a passion in addressing violence faced by LBQ women. She is a member of the Africa sex rights network and the SRHR Africa Trust. She is Tuwezeshe Dada Fellow of the Improving the Rights and amplifying the Actions of Young African Women against all forms of Gender-Based Violence program. She has a background in communication and is a graduate with a Bachelors in mass communication.
Finance Officer: Nakafu Phiona
Phiona is the current finance officer at Freedom And Roam Uganda.She is an accountant by profession.She is so passionate about LBQ women and women rights.
Communications Officer: Nakayiza Christine
Christine is the communications Officer of Freedom And Roam Uganda.
She is a rugby player who uses sports as a tool of advocacy to empower other women.
She is so passionate about the physical and mental well-being of LBQ women.
Christine is a radical feminist,human rights activist and human rights defender.
Administrative Officer: Mubiru Arthur
Arthur is the administration officer at FARUG.He is a nurse by profession and is the health coordinator desk at FARUG.
He is a 2016 AIDS & Rights Alliance for Southern Africa(ARASA) Training of Trainers(ToT) Alumni.
He is a transgender rights activist and a community paralegal.
